Good morning all. :coffee: :coffee:

It's starting to smell like the playa around here. I'm going to a workshop over at The Generator today to learn how to make a figjam cooler. I really appreciate this workshop as I am a "hands on " kind of gal

Swell good morning! Nice viking bar.
lots to do, and no good plan for it. I'm nibbling around the edges, doing the things directly in front of me at any moment. One big outing today to the furthest supplier, big battery I think, and maybe a solar panel if the price is right. I suppose I should finish with the item that requires the electricity first... eh. I'm looking at my first year set up, and everything was just fine. Fallback is always to a simpler set up that worked fine anyway. I'm trying not to spin too much over the elaborations I've been dreaming up.

g'morning 420, Elorrum.

"hands on".........just another reason to admire you! I wanna see a FJ cooler up close. didn't get the chance last year, and hell, I was at his camp!!

Elorrum: What size solar panel you looking for?
I have some.

each year, I try to think of something I not only can, but will, do with my 80' diameter cammo parachute. I never get the inspiration or energy, to do anything with it, though.

Thx Grai and figgy and msj2u and all the rest of ya's.

I can't over do it or I could tear open the surgical healing wound on the inside (the exterior wound has healed over).

my mind is blown a bit....but seriously I will be somewhere (maybe on the mtn side overlooking the burn) with the others unable to go to the big burn on playa proper this year....(an eplayan angel tracked me down and called me out of the blue and has the low down on some alternatives, not to mention the instinct that I am feeling a bit worried about my recovery and all) so that has been uplifting!

This medical ordeal has given me new artistic ideas, and that's good....for me and the community and the burn itself, but healing from this untimely surgery is paramount....I've got to take it easy and be patient, grrrr....

much love, moon ;)

Hia Bar!
Hia Moonrise! looking forward to seeing you when I get to Reno.
Everyone else too.
I am so happy to be able to call many of you friends. the broad network of folks like you help me think outside of my limitations and expectations.
So Drinks on me.

Mercedes Sling:
shot of Honey Bourbon (I like J.Beams version over JD's)
tablespoon of Agave Nectar
jigger of bitters
4'oz of "Rice Dream" Horchata
Mix (in order); Ice, bitters, Agave, Bourbon, Horchata , Shake Strain into chilled shot glasses garnish with cinnamon
You can scale it up and add Tequila but the sweetness is gonna mess you up worse than the Alcohol will.

Thanks UJ and yep I remember you had a serious infection and couldn't make it last year (I wanted to meet you so very much too!) our timing sucks so it seems. Hopefully we'll get the chance. ;) U-stream is/was a back-up plan but I am local & lucky enough to be led to the off playa goings on during the burn...my eplayan angel has promised to clue me in ;)

Knowmie! ;) Yep, I'll make it to Reno and such!! I'm hanging in there....and I can tell you are hanging in there, too 8)

Savannah and everyone else I PM'd... I found the gal and her camp on FB, she'll friend me on FB after the burn. Thank you all for the help and sorry for my lousy pre-burn timing, erg!

I'm sorry I wasn't more help, Moonrise! I hadn't actually forgotten, but I'm overdue on several things I meant to do and had to ship all my gear Monday--kinda worn out over here! I hope it's a beautiful day at your end . . .

So, why is it than when I hear the opening chords of "I Just Can't Be Happy Today" (the Damned) on my ipod, I instantly get a little happier?

Sav and everyone, NO No! The timing of my injury sucked/sucks (pre-burn, omfg!)

I''m appreciative of any bit of help and do NOT wish to interfere with the burn. It got handled rather fast (as we know some of us are ultra prepared types and had the time to quickly track her down) it's alllll good!

Now if I could just find a secretary to help me with all the frickin' red tape I've been slammed with (I can wish!) I'm working on it...bit by bit.

HAVE A GREAT BURN EVERYONE! I'll be contributing my share, it's not much but I'm doing my best :)

Much love, Moon :)

Moon, I was so glad to meet you in person in January... what a fun time there! Glad to see you have your priorities straight. Heal well NOW and you'll be ready for many more burns later. Sure beats the alternatives! :?

Sending good thoughts your way, and looking forward to seeing you again, one of these days.

Thanks Triken....you lil' humming bird you! (that is a compliment) you're such a mellow gal...and when I hugged ya' it felt like I was hugging a lil' humming bird, hehehe..
I know you know what is what after you and the sisters (Delle and_________??) told me all about Aaron, how's he doing? Healing well, I hope?!!

and off I go... to red tape hell....what fun! Obamacare is causing to change ALL of my doctors in the MIDDLE of this fracking medical ordeal...my timing truly is sucky these days, fuck! Not to mention all of the other domino effects the foot dragging caused...hell the Clintons might've passed a better/just as good health care system for all we know....

:coffee: anyone? It's gonna be a late night.... :|
