BTW. My average actual electric consumption is about $30 per month. But my bill comes to about $80 per month with all the taxes and fees added.

And to get my bill this low I have spent about $4000 in new energy efficient equipment.

Point is... I put my money where my mouth is. Al does not. John does not.

You lefties would begin to have my respect if you publicly criticized the massive hypocrisy of your leaders.

But you never do. So your arguments are garbage. Why should we believe you care? I don't think you do.

Prove me wrong and smack down these two pervert heroes of yours.

So you couldn't stay away? BP capped their well. You were wrong on virtually every point you ever tried to make, so you just evaporate and come back with new stupidity.

I'm cool with being stupid. But I'm not sure what you mean about the BP thing. Could you post a link to a post I made?

You're right.
No one cares to address any one of your first three posts

I wouldn't put that in your mouth; do you know where it's been?

And, finally, zzzz snore zzz snort.

Definitely not DVD. DVD has chosen not to participate online anymore for now. Not here, not on other places.

Burningquestions has no visible socklines at this time. I will not identify socks, but I might deny or confirm their existence.

Would seem the original ruse of the quad riding, firework shooting, zen individualist was thinly veiled and become something more. I even asked him why he is really here. He can ask the questions, he won't answer any.

The long and the short of it is that regardless of whatever conservative, shit smearing agenda the OP has towards Gore the fact remains that he, probably more than any one individual I can think of, is responsible for drawing more people's attention to the subject of climate change than anyone else on the planet.

I find that an extraordinary legacy to have associated with one's name.

I'm wondering what bragging rights 'burningquestions' can hold up and lay claim to other than sophomoric shit-stirring and red herring drive-by posts to a group that largely don't give a rat fuck about what s/he thinks.

does that make Algore a" good guy", "bad guy, good message", or, "it doesn't matter, his hypocrisy, because, he's on our side"?

great for, him, though, bringing attention.

and, where would we be had he not invented the internet?

Of course this beg the question of whether Gore ever actually said that.

Just as the astronomer Carl Sagan never said "...billion and billions of stars." there seems to be absolutely no available reference that Gore ever actually said (or implied) that he invented the internet.

As usual a lie has traveled half way around the world before truth has a chance to put its socks on.

good point.........I'll withhold judgment pending a quote......but, as far as teasing and ridicule, based purely on speculation......well, we all have fun on that, no?

Ygmir, here is the information you requested:
Internet pioneers Vint Cerf and Bob Kahn noted that, "as far back as the 1970s, Congressman Gore promoted the idea of high speed telecommunications as an engine for both economic growth and the improvement of our educational system. He was the first elected official to grasp the potential of computer communications to have a broader impact than just improving the conduct of science and scholarship [...] the Internet, as we know it today, was not deployed until 1983. When the Internet was still in the early stages of its deployment, Congressman Gore provided intellectual leadership by helping create the vision of the potential benefits of high speed computing and communication. As an example, he sponsored hearings on how advanced technologies might be put to use in areas like coordinating the response of government agencies to natural disasters and other crises."
