Dammit Bill, I need some mo-jo sent up to the northwest..

Taking Grandfather to Portland VA tomorrow for blood work up.

Then back up to Portland the next day..

They are going to stop and restart his heat.. He is getting very old and I have some fears.. He has told my boys : he wants off this merry go round..I told then not to try and talk him out of it.. Let him go when he's ready..

I think we all would just like to go down easy. A prayer for unjon's friend Grandfather this morning.
But Dammit Bill, this morning, why did you have me accidentally set the alarm for two hours too early? I kept hitting snooze without looking at the clock, got up started coffee, and well, it's 2:30!!!!! Did you think I should go to work at 4:00? Should I not have the coffee, and go back to bed. Bill?

DMMN IT BILL!

I lovingly took in a feral cat and name him Diesel. He's very shy and about two and half years old. Last night a June bug, or some kind of 3/4 inch long brown beetle
got in the house. Around 10:00pm Diesel discovers it and his instincts kicked him in the ass and he chased it all over the kitchen. Here's my gripe. The beetle is on a counter and crawls between
the wall and a bottle of Jack Daniels. Well Diesel just forces his way between the wall and the bottle and knocks the bottle over and it slid to the edge and fell
on the floor and broke.
Now I know what it must smell like in Lynchburg, Tennessee. Fourteen hours later the house still has a faint distillery odor. 8)

Goshdarnit, someone hacked their way through the weeds in the backyard, clipped the lock to the shed, and stole our bicycles and bike pump. Worst part is that my gut reaction was to take the exit to Shameville off life's highway. Dammit.

I say this with real love and support; Shut your fucking hole!
ok, that sounded harsh let me rephrase that.
There are more than a few of us on this board (and in the world at large) that have dealt with the suicide of a friend or their own wavering desire to remain among the living. making light of sutch is in poor taste. But Like I said I'm saying this in a manner of love. I don't know you, and don't belive we've had mutch contact here on Eplaya. But i care, I really do. If you really are dealing with self harm issues I would invite you to speak check out this thread. and never listen to your gut, unless it's telling you you need bacon.

¡¡Knowmad!! I was trying to say that I felt washed with old feelings of shame and self-hate, which I've worked damned hard to overcome. Like, on the journey of life, I'm trying to get away from those negative suck-holes. Posted in this thread not the other because it was not life-threatening or catastrophic to me or others, just damned challenging to see old patterns come back so easily. Not defending myself, just clarifying and thanking you for calling me on my ambiguous, loaded metaphor.

She even called the official must bring list fucking overkill! Fuuuuuuuuuuuck! She'd be such a fucking sparkle pony if she ever went! Fuck fuck fuck! >.<

She knows naught of which she speaks, poor thing.

Relate it to something she Knows.

Get drunk; tell her tampons are fucking unnecessary overkill; debate it to the death. She might just get the picture.

Too bad.

I was going to ask you to videotape the debate and then show it to me on the bus.

You don't sew do you?

Maybe an old backpack or something might provide the clips, cinches and the like to hold one together until we (meaning "I"?) could sew it for you on playa?

Let me know, so I can bring the proper tools.

looped through and sewn back on itself is standard for heavy lifting straps, Fishy. Done right, it'll hold until the strap breaks.

I don't know where to get this done. I'm assuming some sort of industrial sewing.

I'd bet Delle can do it. Really a pretty simple square and "X" pattern. I've done it with copper rivets, too.
I bet and upholstery shop or shoemaker would have the big machine.

Okay, the attachment is a bolt or screw or something through the webbing, into the side of the chair. Is that the same with yours, Figjam?

And this is not my playa chair, actually, because it's less than two years old and I don't want it to get beat up. So repairs will have to be done locally.

But thank you all.

If it's not your playa chair, now would be the time to make arrangements for it to be sewn whilst you aren't using it! That is, if Monsieur Figgy's straps won't do, of course.
