I only know The Five Star, but it is definitely a dive.

tpbm prefers dive bars

Nope. Mom used to bake, I got to dust the cookies with powdered sugar.

Yesterday I took my car to the dealership for scheduled maintenance. I had rinsed it off. That's all. I warned them this WILL be a dusty mess.

Well not so much right this second. But in general... yep.

TPBM plans to quit in the next 12 months.

Seriously considering it. I am, however, quitting my apartment manager job in two weeks.

That's me all over. My house is almost 100 years old. It's wired in a loop. Under the floor on hanging insulators. Fun to fix.

TPBM Loves modern furniture.

Nah . . . I really admire late-19th century/early-20th century furniture . . . art deco, art nouveau. Exotic, uncommon shapes.

The person below me fits a weekly lottery ticket into their entertainment budget.

Not my holiday, and I loath mandatory gift-giving with a passion. I refuse to give gifts at required times, I refuse to take them just because someone feels obligated to give them to me. Random gifts I love, both giving and getting.

tpbm also goes of on a rant when christmas comes up.

For almost the same reason. I don't like the fact that everyone expects something. Also because im forced to see family that doesn't like us (we are the black sheep of my dads side)

TPBM doesn't celebrate Birthdays.
The major difference between a thing that might go wrong and a thing that cannot possibly go wrong is that when a thing that cannot possibly go wrong goes wrong it usually turns out to be impossible to get at or repair.

Get your own damn ice cream.... And pick some up for me while you're at it!

TPBM needs a strong cup of coffee to get going in the morning.

Oh, yess. Today, I am not certain. I have to work on a big project with a person who delights in pissing me off. Sometimes my morning coffee gives him an unfair advantage.

Tpbm eats breakfast every day.

Unfortunately, it is the equity in the house if the shutdown goes on much longer.

TPBM wishes people wouldn't bring reality onto the eplaya, because this is where they goof off.

Not really. Hearing about other people's reality reminds me that we're all human.

BM has taught me to appreciate hugs. I come from a cheek-kissing family.

TPBM has cute cheeks.
