Meh, they're just people (though M2 is pretty much the top of the food chain in the elusive "coolness" factor)

tpbm doesn't really see the need to hear The Hat pontificate in private.

You know I'd be dragged out for throwing tomatoes and making loud comments.
tpbm would join in that in an instant.

i n m y m i n d. I could see lobbing a tomato on my way out if nobody saw me. I'm a coward down to my socks.

I'm too angry to be any good at those.
tpbm wonders at the dignity of the african americans in the civil rights era, including, but in no way limited to Rosa Parks. (and many more.)

Yes, and the sheer bravery.

Admit, submit, whatever.

TPBM laughs when I say my food list for BM is potted meat, baby bell cheese in red rind, whole wheat crackers, powdered milk, pop tarts, nuts, chocolate and dill pickles.

I only laugh at your powdered milk, because I cannot stand the stuff. :D Shelf-stable real milk (such as Horizon Farms) is available in little boxes on the juice aisle and sometimes in the natural section; like juice boxes only not. It's quite tasty after being in the cooler (optional).

The person below me prefers a paper atlas to navigating via smartphone on road trips.

Nope. It seems everything I do now involves a dry/damp lake bed.

I've been itching to learn soldering/LED work... and carpentry... and welding... and many other "manly crafts." Maybe I will have a knack for one of them - who knows?

I would be able to if I could go. I have to work and then I might go to my next door neighbor's pool party (the neighbors I had when I was a teenager) but need to negotiate a steep grade of whether I could handle it. Might need to use my "burst into flames" rule, that allows me to leave a social situation if I do in fact burst into flames. Usually I have a great time before that can happen.

tpbm has to work on Friday.
