Can we get an AMEN! to that question....seriously how can anyone be expected to take you seriously if you haven't even stepped foot on the playa yet? I could understand it if you're a newbie and you've got to wait a year...maybe even two before you get to go. But you on the other hand have been on this board for a very long time...dont'cha think it's high time that you cut the excuses and bring your derriere up 447 and see it all first hand?

A side question that I'll ask since I won't tippytoe around tough questions...have you at least made it to a regional event yet?

I'm hoping that it stays that way.

One less asstard to have to contend with.

Badger, if it were'nt for asstards, i think your life would lose purpose, and meaning....

it's like a turkey shoot without the turkeys......

i've accepted the fact that i'm in a symbiotic relationship with the things that disgust me...

it's like aversion aroma therapy, but different...i call it the "jerry springer effect".

it's not that i want them to be who they are, but if they were'nt, i'd have to direct my anger towards those that probably dont deserve it.

having done that in the past, i know what a tragic mistake that can be so i focus and direct my venom at a target of appropriate deservedness.

like Jerry Bruckheimer, for instance....

and lets throw in that guy from CSI, david caruso....now THERE is a ASSTARD EXTRAORDINAIRE....

but i will have to agree with the overwhelming sentiment that unless you step in it, smell it and eat it, you wont really know if it's good shit or not....

Oh come on, what's wrong with David Caruso?
I take it someone else has choked on too much CSI?

Jerry needs to remember you can have too much of a good thing.....

I thought csi was edging towards reality somewhat.
The show the other night had caruso jumping over the shark himself.
Let's start with black powder ammunition from 1969???? soviet countries that heats up and explodes when it rolls off a desk!!!!!
Supposedly illegal to import.

Wait! There's more!!!
How about a magic bullet that "knows" when it hits cold materials instead of warm flesh?!
And all this while flying at thousands of feet a second!
If it hits armor, it goes right through it.
But if it hits skin, it breaks apart!!

And I thought the most full of shit person in the world was that Dr Stone on discovery who has a rating chart for evil.
This, in spite of being unable to define it.

The good part?
Caruso shot at the end!

Meanwhile contract negotiations will decide whether he dies or not.

On the other hand, the default csi was actually funnier than the comedy shows it ran against the other night.
Seriously, I think they've found their strength.
Really funny.

Just try to ignore the fact that a csi does not do detective work including interrogation and it might be okay.
Think of it like a buffy episode.

That magic bullet crap?
Worst writing ever!

Oh there's something sickening about DC. That tough guy with the fake compassion. I hate miami. las vegas is marginal, sometimes good, and nyc is a joke, but miami is just dreadful.

Lately we've been watching more Law & Order around here than CSI and one of the main reasons is, strangely enough, oversaturation...a little Caruso goes a very long ways. His character just overwhelms ya...while Vegas has a much more believable and interesting cast of characters.

I'm just wondering how far CBS is going to try and milk the CSI concept...
And while I'm talking about TV stuff...Hell's Kitchen has been great to watch this year.

Eggxactly !!! Miami has the funniest intro scenes though.

Although I love Caruso when he is on the Soup on E! .
He looks like my grade school janitor, except he was in shape.

About the only thing IMHO worth watching on Spike is the Sunday morning PowerBlock covering Trucks!, Musclecar! and Extreme 4x4. USA Network blows Spike out of the water....USA also has "Burn Notice" which actually earned a spot on my DVR record list.

I really hope to make it this year but I have really been busy.

Maybe you know a few. In fact, I am sure most here will one way or another.

Always have been since it started.

Oh and please let me apologize for having an interesting life that takes me all over and tons of my time.
it's just the way it always is.
If any Burner in L.A. that doesn't know me in person wants to visit me or just hang, let me know.

I am around some interesting things and Burners at the moment.

Were you going to email me a link for that new site? I'm curious.

Ok so now it is the right time to answer this,

BM everywhere is so conveniently adjacent to me all the time 24/7 360....... sorry.......365......

Oh and anyone that wants, PM me I'll email you a link.

The site is killer and has been going great.
And it has been going only a few months no less so far.
Hackers have been going at it and they have been dropping like flies.

I have the ut-most absolute killer team of programmers and engineers, not to mention I am Top IT/Digital Dog.

I love testing my limits. :o

So...having brushed up a little bit on just who Dr. Block is....and then seeing the line about chat rooms and great talk about sex, this little idea isn't turning into promoting commerce on the sly via the eplaya, is it?

Please keep in mind that I'm not accusing anyone of anything, I'm just curious simply based on what I'm seeing here.

I probably used the wrong smilie, but I am not advertising.
No need to.
What you may have researched about the sites of Block, is relative to the BM.
Wont seem to be, after but so many members of the B site that join the main site.............

Never asked anyone to join nor am I necessarily asking for a capitalistic reason.............. It's a great site.

Just sharing what I am doing at the moment.

Why did you post what you did?

Just curious.

After all, if anything I would have tried to promote me or my site first.
Technically, Bonobo is a great model for eplaya.

but that is just me.

Bonobo has let me go beyond the limits.

Chat rooms and all, and with killer equipment and programming and programmers.

Everything I did, we did, works perfectly so far.

I am proud of the work and whom I am working with here.

Just showing one of my mediums and models of my art anyhoo.

Check the site B site out. Or as much as you can in non-private mode.

And I did not use the entire name of the site we do.

In comparison to which BM for eplaya does.......

The same, almost anyway, is great.

They let me do what has been asked for on eplaya for years and it is working, not on my site, though I could have and was about to do, and with out HELP no less..........

Cant say the same with the Badgering hinderence I got from................

Anyhoo........

When I looked at the overall posts and did the background lookup on who Dr. Block was it looked like a pattern emerged. I asked questions to try and determine if I was seeing things correctly. That's all it is.

Dr. Susie cracks a big whip, but I'm afraid she'd be out whipped at Burning Man. That's too much for her.

The poll results, as if we needed one to know the answer, is that the overwhelming majority don't give a crap if Dr. Suzy Block goes to Burning Man. It's her loss, not ours!
