Hi! Long time no see. I saw the new Star Trek last week. It was pretty Good. I think the actors did a pretty good job with their parts for the most part. :)

I haven't seen it yet, either. Money and time haven't come together. Next Thursday is payday, and my four day weekend starts the following Friday. Maybe I'll see it then. (On the other hand, I need to get up to my parents' place and work on my velomobile, which is already scheduled for at least some of those days....)

I recommend it. I've seen it twice. Opening week and last week on 5 dollar bargain matinee day. The villian, Romulan Nero was interesting. I didn't get the alternate universe/ timeline thing completely the first time, but the second viewing cleared it up. The old Spock and new Spock meeting was interesting. It's a good summer action flick. A new universe means more movies possible. I like the new Spock/ Uhurha romance too.

Oh, and I spotted a blooper too. During the Kirk/ Nero fight scene, Nero's pistol is already on the walkway before the fight begins. Continuity girl made a boo-boo. Or maybe the space/ time continuim was still in flux.

I saw a movie the other day called "Moon" with Sam Rockwell. It was pretty good! Anyone else seen this? It was at a film festival so I don't know if it got any sort of real release.

Is that what that thing is? I've been using it to make hot chocolate.

They filmed sometime last year, before winter, the season is just coming out now. The shooting schedule isn't exactly readily accessed information, and that's a long ass drive from where I live. Been there though. Pretty.

Lots of filming in Utah, we have remarkable scenery and giant tax breaks.

I heard about it before shooting and meant to post it, but not sure if I did.
The usa shoots were atracting a lot of attention.
Don't know if they released it.
I think it was well known by the Whozits by shoot time though.

I didn't say it was secret. I'm saying getting the shooting locales in time to be there when the crew is there isn't easy.

Damn.

Hi AntiM. I was hoping I would get to say Hi to Archersangel or one of the crew from the harem. False alarm I guess. Say Hi for me of you see them.

I so love Sci-Fi.........wish I had time for other forums.....but, haha, seems my free time is spent here..........

I found, there was a short Zombie clip, filmed here locally, "under the radar" with no notification to the public or whatever.........well, parts were filmed here.

I think it played on SNL, and had soemething to do with "Monsterbating Zombies".........hahahaa

I run really hot/cold on Doctor Who, but appreciate the scope of the show overall. And growing up, I thought Sarah Jane was really cute'n'sassy.

Too soon. Too bad.
