Ok, so I asked the gang of idiots that I work with to help come up with some suggestions for the wheel of shame. This was our lunch conversation today!

1- light a fart
2- burp the alphabet, or Caravansary, or Burning Man, or...
3- pick you nose
4- put some clothes on
5- sing a Broadway showtune, or a tv theme song
6- eat a teaspoon of playa dust
7- dance like Elaine from Seinfield
8- confess the worst thing you ever did to a sibling and beg forgiveness
If I've told you once, I've told you ten thousand times..jazz hands goddammit....JAZZ HANDS!!!

tpbm knows the reference

crawl in the dust? Mini scavenger hunt? go the camp across the street and ask for a bottle of suntan lotion? Kiss the person behind you in line, and make it good. (If the person behind you isn't will, we go further back in the line.) Sing? recite some poetry? bark like a dog? purr like a cat?

Typically yes, but there is nothing usual about the people I work with! :D - gang of idiots just seems to fit... and if any of them are reading this they know I speak the truth

I don't know if the originals were very usual either. But now you have ads. Blasphemy.

Purchased 15 sarongs for the dye day at the man. Will get more as the budget frees up, but this is a good start!
Hopefully you get to create your own piece of art like this in the shade of the man!

So sad that I am not going to be on playa till Wednesday, as I would LOVE to participate in this!!! Maybe I will get lucky and catch you at the man. Sigh. I am going to miss the M&G too.

Crossing my fingers that some year I will get to arrive at the opening gate, or even better, on an EA. It's just not working out like that in default.

One of my favorite bars, P3 Oasis has die that you have to roll to get a drink with a legend on the bar for results... I can't remember them all but it got pretty... well, unusual.

Baby bird shots, striptease on the pole, body shots, weenis rodeo, bring back 3 pieces of Moop were some of the things they would *make* you do for a drink...

Great - I can't wait to see Ken play with his new toy.

I imagine your yard must have rebar holes all over it by now.

Are we allowed to bring our own white item to dye if you don't have any more scarves on hand? I have a couple of cotton tees that I wouldn't mind seeing incolorated.

Nope we can't dye t shirts, etc on the playa. Cotton has to be rinsed (a lot). Silk doesn't so we don't have a ton of gray water to contend with."

Running with Gunslinger's question and what Lonesomebri has dug up, could I bring in a silk item to join in the fun? If all goes according to plan I'll be on playa by Monday afternoon....but we all know how the best laid plans go concerning the burn...

Yes that would probably be okay as long as its not a huge tent, parachute tapestry. If its not ok, tamara kay(our fearless leader) will let you know but she's pretty easy.

I wasn't thinking quite on that scale, more like get more of the same scarves that TK had listed out earlier in the thread. Possibly grabbing a few to refresh your stocks? I'm also scraping at things to get my mind off what seems to be the impending doom of my playa trike that is at 95% complete and slowing down....

Still hoping to come by and say hi even if dying with you doesn't work out!

Yes please come by! You are welcome to bring your own silk. Last year one gorgeous lady brought her silk shirt and it turned out beautifully.

By Monday evening we will be collapsed in a puddle, but if you show up with silk we will have the dyes, and probably a margarita or two :D

oh YES! This lovely fantasy is ever present at this time of year. Displacement. I always think of a dog that is about to be in a fight, but all of a sudden has an urgent itch that needs attending on it's back foot. Trikes are great, I hope yours falls in to line.

Getting closer every couple days! Just needs the deraileur and the trunk to be finished, then it's off to painting and adding in the brake cables!

Will be looking at my budget again this weekend to see if I can throw in a few of those scarves. Still building up my costume bin collection of pretty things for burns
