Mine is currently living in the post office, on its way to my domicile.

*sigh*

Nerves are all better now.

my ticket, after much idolized examination, goes into the not much used center drawer of the anitque mail desk in my dining room. There it stays until the day I pack up and leave. I am far too much of a space cadet to risk pulling the thing out for frivolous reasons.

My ticket is safely stored behind locked doors in the high-security area at work, with a big note on its Priority Mail envelope: PACK ME FIRST.

Ours are in a secret compartment in an anonymous piece of furniture that MAY or MAY NOT be boobie-trapped with explosives...

Hmmmmm

My sincere compliments to SilkenTofu on choosing such an interesting and informative topic to espouse upon. Delving into the secret places tickets dwell and the rituals that Burners perform guarding and cherishing their entry pass to “Home”.

Besides realizing a want to be a BM Ticket in my next life, it’s also wonderful to know where everyone has hidden their ticket, what city they live in and that some MAY be boobie-trapped with explosives...

The warden has mine. When I get it depends on how good my behavior has been, but I’ll get it with a new suit, $25.00 and bus ticket to Reno.....

If it wasn't

Just checked with the Warden and I can't get my bus ticket changed from Reno to Boston. If it wasn't for bad luck (& bad lawyers) I'd have no luck at all.

Yes, I must agree that this is one of the more interesting threads on the board. My tickets are tucked into my checkbook along with my A Perfect Circle tickets. The checkbook is in a second purse that I only bring with me if I specifically have something to pay for with a check. Otherwise it's hanging around in my room. This has suddenly made me wonder if I should find a better safe place.

mine lives in the top drawer of my dresser with the passport and other important documents.. currently it shares envelope space with tickets to Critical Massive (Seattle area regional burn event), and the Coachella Music Festival.

My ticket resides down in my pants where it's dark and moist.

Mine is tacked to my mirror. So I see it everyday & since it's right by the door, there is no chance of me forgetting it.

cats like paper products

Postby DancingTofu » Sun May 02, 2004 2:52 am

It's stuck to the end of my bookcase, along with its fellows from past years... one of the only cat-proof places in the house. I'm kinda nervous now, though, and it'll be another 6 1/2 hours till I can get home to check on it. Deep breath....

It's presently being used as a bookmark, but I'm sure it will end up someplace I won't lose it.
