ACK! The suspense is killing me!!

Postby abigailhawaii » Tue Jan 24, 2012 11:40 am

I figure that they have to spend a couple of days checking through the entries to look for duplicates, scalpers, etc. But they also have to draw and run a minimum of 20,000 credit cards between now and next Wednesday, so they better get started right?? I am hardly getting anything done while I wait! What is everybody else doing?

Meh. I'm going to take the van to a couple of places, simply to keep on driving it. I hope my parking space will be available when I get back.
Also, lunch. Tomorrow, I work. I'm not getting all edgy about this. I have no idea if I'm even going to get a ticket, so I kinda refuse to tie myself in knots over it. This is a good time to let go of need or interest or outcome. You'll need that "no expectations" at the burn, no harm practicing it now.

After reading that last line of your post, a feeling of calm ran over me.

I must admit though, every email notification I get on my phone is indeed killing me

The Main Sale is huge compared to the holiday sale. Technically, there might be no notification until a week from tomorrow (Feb 1).

Maybe we should do some yoga and watch a movie, is what I'm saying. :D

Good suggestion. I'm trying to divert my thinking from "what if I don't get a ticket?" to "what I can/will do with all that time and money if I DON'T get to go this year".

I'm not real successful at it so far. But I'm trying.

Hello all, The more I dwell on it, the more I figure I did something wrong. Then I dwell on it more. I looked on the other threads and didn't see any speculating about the number of people who joined the lottery?

I will have to keep calling my credit card company to keep renewing my fraud lift so I have to be vigilant, at least every three days. Are they pulling yet? Are they out of $240 tix yet? At least if I don't get drawn until $390 I can give the damn CC company an exact amount I'll be billed for.....

Ok, back to work...

Say, Trillobyte, is there a feeling about how bad the scalpers / scammers took at run at the new ticket system? Is there a behaviour they're looking for, or is there a just a list of jerkfaces you parse the DB for?

Curious cats are curious.

Thx!
