Any truck wash will do RVs.

We used the one in Fernley and they did a great job. Since the bikes were on a rack, they got pressure washed too as an added bonus.
Savannah: I don't know what it is, but no thread here escapes alive. You'll get 1 or 2 real answers at minimum, occasionally 10 or 12, and then we flog it until it's unrecognizable and you can't get your deposit back.

Many years the Gerlach fire department has washed RV's as a benefit for the schools. Outside power washing using fire hoses and high school kids soaping. So you my need additional cleaning before returning, but you can't beat the price, the cause and the heart. Cars too! Usually signs in Gerlach on the East side of the road. It's a great opportunity to chat with local living residents and tell them in person about what matters for BM.

Ignore her missdigital. Let me answer your question properly. In Nixon, at the high school, they wash RVs and do a pretty good job, at least for the outside. You can even get them to do the undercarriage for $5 more. We paid $30 last year, and they washed it while we were eating Indian tacos, so we would have stopped anyway. Seems to have been a very good investment. That doesn't mean you shouldn't give it the ol' once-over when you get back, but this is a good first step.

This prolly won't be there this year, as there are not enough students to wash the vehicles left in town.

+2 Pyro and Dick. Let's keep those Nevada cities thriving. Hope the Gerlach BM office can publicise vehicle washings happening wherever closer to the event!

and the problem with this would be?
it's called supply and demand, fuels the economy

Why not pay someone Gerlach?
Why would anyone pay more for anything?
and if i wanted to a crap cleaning i'll do it myself like we did last year?

Agree we did everything local
made tons of donations on the way out
bought and donated bikes
paid them to dispose garbage
bought food and gas

Reality check here Gerlach isnt a thriving metropolis, they could use the buissness & donations
and was more than happy to give it to them

Yeah, they do the fire hose in Gerlach. We had 'em do it one year. It's just the outside, though I did have them spray the underside. This is not a wash that would do for a rental, maybe, like the Doc said, a starter. But I go north when I leave BRC, and on Sunday or Monday it's real trafficy, so now I just drag my dust with me and put it in my driveway.
