Hedgehog costume

Postby trystanthegypsy » Wed Aug 18, 2010 2:34 pm

I want to make a hedgehog costume in order to play croquet. What would be a good material for spikes that would be comfortable to roll around on?

Foam. Like on egg crate mattresses.

Or rubber. Rubber spikes spraypainted.

Or foam noodles. Like get a shitton of those spiky rubber balls and lay them flat.

ETA CUTENESS!!

Maybe some sort of bristles from a brush?

A while back, in my Mangy Satyr days, I discovered an interesting technique that can be used to form fur into enervation spectacles of beauty.

If you take a pelt of appropriate fur length, form it into a garment of choice then figure out how to stretch some fishnet over the fur, you can reform the otherwise smooth pelt into a bed of spiky fur tip protrusions.

Further application of water or hair gel may give you the desired effect.

Now, I did this on a pair of pants so it was easy to put on the fishnets and maintain the required tension.

I think you can figure out a way with one of those fishnet body suit BDSM/Industrial getups.

I blame untreated adult ADD.

"Remember, I was a hair analyst for a time...

And now that I think about it, she's not anywhere near the hedgehogs.
Not even in the same book.

Queen of Hearts. Remember, they prosecute the knave for tart stealing.
First book is cards; second, chess

Several hundred used meth syringes with bloody cotton balls on the needle points ought to get your costume going.

Careful with the cuddling though.

I did like the Burton version, but I'm also just obsessed all around. I like the video game version the best *grins evilly*
