Be aware, friends, that tickets will sell out very quickly. Like past years, there are no set-asides nor will-call. We apologize again for 2013’s technical issues, but we’ve switched to a new service, with much better servers, that should give you a dreamish, but less nightmarish experience!
Lakes of Fire 2014: RELEASE THE KRAKEN, will have two main ticketing days, as well as a long early-purchasing window for 2013 volunteers who put in eight hours, to get their reduced rate. (THANKS!!!) We want you to know what the t-minus ticket-snatching windows are:
Wednesday, February 26th - 12:00 noon Eastern Time Zone
* Qualified volunteers’ reduced-price tickets go on sale
* You must have a code, to obtain this. If you volunteered for eight hours in 2013, you should get an email from email@example.com

Tuesday, March 18th - 12:00 noon Eastern Time Zone
* Qualified volunteers’ reduced-price tickets sale ENDS
Wednesday, March 19th - 8:00 P.M. Eastern Time Zone
* First half of main-sale tickets available, until sold-through
Saturday, March 22nd - 12:00 noon Eastern Time Zone
* Second half of main sale tickets available, until sold-through

Lakes of Fire is a 100% volunteer-run event. Whether it's building the mighty effigy, organizing the parking lot, or this communication, everything is done by volunteers exactly like you. Give us your interests and availability, and we’ll plug you in with the right crew, on a timeframe that works for you!
* Thank you tickets are available at a reduced price, and volunteers have a limited amount of time in which to purchase them.
* All Lakes of Fire volunteers need tickets to enter the event . . . even G.L.E.A. Inc. board members, who serve year-round, purchase tickets.
* Volunteers who contributed the required amount in are offered a discounted volunteer appreciation ticket a.k.a "thank you tickets" for the NEXT event as a thank you gift for that service. Service in 2013 qualified for a 2014 ticket, service in 2014 will count towards 2015, etc.

Are you stealthy? Can you keep a level head? Even amidst bugged out bushes and interlopers? The Department of Perimeter Ninjas (DPN) wants YOU!
Not everyone who wants in, gets in, especially those without tickets. For the max respect in the community, we need some Ninjas to keep the family safe, sound & flowing all around.
Sadly, LoF’s essence and continuity is threatened yearly by interlopers, a.k.a. “gate crashers.” This nuisance causes significant liability issues/concerns, and unwanted stress to our participants and organizers. The perimeter of Lucky Lake provides ample opportunity for these invaders to finagle their way into YOUR event. You can help!

AFRIKABURN EXCHANGE PROGRAM
Have you been involved in our previous regional events? Like to travel? Have a passport? Free April 27 - May 5th?
Want a free trip to AfrikaBurn in South Africa?
Through an independent grant, there will be a "Burner Exchange Program" this year. One of ours goes to their burn, one of theirs come to Lakes of Fire.
This program provides free round trip airfare, a free ticket, ride to the burn, and pairs you up with a theme camp for AfrikaBurn, the world’s largest sanctioned Regional Burn largest burn, (8,500 participants) outside of Black Rock City.
The successful candidate will have spent time working our regional events. (Gate, DPW, Greeters, art, etc)
