Anyone know of Zozobra?

My friend showed me this today: http://www.zozobra.com/history.html

I found it interesting how they had been burning a man since 1924. Has anyone here been or know anything about Zozobra?

Very cool, it would be fun to take part in it. Years ago, we had a member who was there for the festival.

Got any pics?

It does sound like it would be interesting.

I just found out about it yesterday so no pics yet!

Might have to go check this out.

It's held in Santa Fe around Sep every year. It's definitely more family-themed/oriented event. I actually just moved to NM last Fall and attended my first Zozobra- it's pretty cool for what it is, but I imagine it's nothing compared to burning man (I'll be going to Burning Man for the first time this year!!!!).

I hope it's not, rather that is, moreso the latter rather than the former. Cheers! ;)
