spacious ART labyrinth

...upon moon dust?

...i never thought one could breathe here.

let's stay awhile and inhale the dense multi-colored other-world.
let's stay and exhale some toxins of material and routine.

wait... there's the moon hovering over there.
then where are we?
what is this?

not the name, or exact location...
we could care less. this THING is apparently beyond such limitations.

we mean THIS...

...where sub-sonic frequencies massage our sleepless bones
and the higher ones tickle our transparencies...

multiple rhythms from every cozy corner
become a new more complex rhythm of its own...
...could it be 771/16?

here, dust devils are chased by humans,
and humans are chased by new impressions.

don't worry,
you don't have to go to a rave if you'd rather not.
it'll come right to you!

here comes the circular saw of light again
softy cutting into the playa..
spewing awedust everywhere.

synergy glows very bright here...
and mutual respect is quite loud.
ear plugs and sunglasses recommended.

best to leave your ego at the door
...it cannot survive for long.
if you need it to survive,
best to leave your body at the door too!

here,

Heaven (color, breasts, art, intention, music, smiles, nudity, kindness, eye contact, respect)
and Hell (heat, dust storms, desert hangovers, attachment, nudity, bad tattoos, hunger, desire)

meet.

nice to be deep in the Middle of things.

is that a glow-bike coming towards me?
a glow-body?
too dark to tell.
whatever it is, it is ART
and i shall welcome it.

but now it turns away,
towards the temple on fire
where
on this eve,
the worship has most certainly "left the building"
...and most buildings have gracefully left the tribe freely behind.

here come the giant eyes again, keeping themselves on everything...
and not a blink or wink despite all the dust?
now they're going their separate ways...
...to turn off depth? to get a better view?

well they do say it takes one eye to watch the other...

oh Artists,
humbled...
and inspired...

thank you for feeling so.

here, one can lose the loss of energy from being concerned about anything.

here, one just may fall in love with human beings all over again.

I believe there's a section in the Terms of Use policy for this board that specifically states: No Poerty. Ever.

Or there should be.

See, I thought the Terms of Use allowed poetry; as long as the poet in question is staked to an anthill afterwards...

Fair is fair.

A po-em by Sensei.

(ahem)

specious Special Olympics of Art (SOA) …upended and dusty. I can’t breathe.
Please go away, your breath is other-worldly.
Hang on, is that the moon? Or, has my neighbor taken off his pants and started to tickle his transparencies? God, I hope not.
Here comes the circular saw of the DPW; they say they’re going to kick my ass if I don’t knock off with the poetry. Shirley, they jest.
Nice to be deep in the Middle of… Well, whatever we were in the middle of. No, really.
Heck, that’s heavenly, and that? Well, that’s hell… Sorta like this poem.
Whatever this is, it ain’t ART and I shall shun it. I won’t call, either.
I want out of the human race, all at once.

* Sensei curtsies *

Thank you.

Not bad dark man! Almost funny too. Good go! Now how about something more original... (though i am flattered) and perhaps a topic of your very own? Could you handle that one?

And don't worry, you'll get your wish soon enough.

See how easy it is to turn a "poet" over to the dark side?
Mission accomplished.

Oh my dark side was here long before you walked in.

Besides that's not dark at all... it's Truth. You've heard of impermanece haven't you?

Sincerely sorry to hear your human experience isn't going so well, seriously. And after all it took to actually get here....

ps.... that is an interesting mission you have there! Poets and artists everywhere..... beware!

and if you build on a poem,
no matter how many verses you pen,
your writing will still suck.

Unless you happen not to.

Please be nice to people, like shree.

I am agitated when complimented.

There are no "good" poets, just as there are no "good' musicians (see Oakenfold thread!).

I suck less today than yesterday, more than tommorrow.
