That which is above, is as that which is below, and that which is below is as that which is above.

It sure is hard to make things "suck less" when you already suck.

I like the "Not my fault" stuck in at the end. How is it not his fault? It was his choice.

Also, it's not like he and his group would be in a better financial situation had they been able to go. It's just this feeling people have that they're entitled to recoup their costs if they don't enjoy the fruits of their labor.

I came across an ad on the Sacramento Craigslist that actually said that the extra cash received "...serves as an opiate to lessen the blow of the fact I will be spending that week in classes and working, while all my friends are frolicking in the desert beligerantly." Money is certainly the way to solace, amirite?

How do you feel about the boards allowing posts offering scalped tickets?

There was a post on here recently where part of the justification for $550 a ticket was that the seller was Jewish. Their words, not mine; look it up:o)

Personally, I don't like it one bit, and it pains me to have to be the guy that points out that it is allowed. However, the state of Nevada (where the event is held) does allow scalping. If we took action to prevent it, that could be construed as restraint of trade (especially if the seller were a Nevada resident). To be able to keep scalpers off the site, we'd either have to move the event to a state that doesn't allow it, or we'd need to stop allowing any kind of ticket sales on ePlaya. I think of it as the lesser of three evils.

I think it's great. I bet most of the people here are gonna flag the post, and it gets removed much faster than if it wasn't posted here. It's 8:02 PST now, and I can't get to that post anymore.

Me neither, so I'll never know what was so obnoxious about it.
