Yeah, I believe that basic needs does stretch to some sort of joy or recreation, I don't think that one should be miserable just because you're poor. Wait, that's wrong...
I think that we all deserve joy in our lives, and I think that in america we have a very nasty attitude towards the poor.
However, Scott and I were comped, because he worked his ass off for ESD, mostly on the playa, but he did put time for the llc the rest of the year as well. So, free tickets, yes.
Maybe it's begging on public boards that gets me, or from strangers. Or just not offering up much of a reason.
And if she got a ticket from a camp that basically kept her working all the time on food or whatever, or from a guy who expected her to work it off on her back, I'd be pretty pissed about that too.
