Juicy Fruit needs camp

Juicy Fruit needs camp

Postby LindaMlynski » Thu Jul 14, 2011 11:02 am

We are three people in an RV who need a camp.
We are from Portland, Oregon.
We create some delicious delights and snacks on a daily basis and provide them to camp members and the playa.
We can contribute cooking, bartending, yoga and carpentry work.
We are easy going, not looking for serious theme. Cheers, LM

Hi There. I would suggest reading Cryptofishist's post at the top of this about how to join a camp (common missteps are included), then research some camps in the 2011 Theme Camps forum here, and then sending a descriptive PM or email if one of them strikes a chord with you. Most camps will expect you to contact them and express specific interest in their mission. However, 40% of the time I say that, someone comes along and posts an invitation just to make a liar out of me, so you see--I'm really doing you a favor. :)

If you don't find a camp, you should still be more than fine in an RV. If it's your first time using one out there, here are two relevant threads to get you started:

Exp. RVers: Suggestions for House rules for renting an RV

RV folks, schedule your pumps (NB: this is apparently not mandatory as the thread first states, but it is convenient)

Thanks to these replies. We are actively looking for a camp as well.
We have knowledge of yoga, cooking, bartending, and carpentry.

It doesnt sound like you need anything if you have what you do.

Are you just looking for people to hang out with?

I dont think i understand.

I have belonged to a camp in the past, and liked the daily interaction and participation with a group of people.
