Post the best ticket trollers here.

I like the Special Ed teachers that get indignant a couple of posts into their thread...

At first I thought, hey they're employed, that makes them relatively rich compared to those who can't go at all. Then I realized how many teachers are facing lay-offs, perhaps this is their last hurrah before unemployment kicks in.

But while $450 isn't overly realistic, for an extra $50, they can pick up a pair of tickets with patience and keeping a sharp eye on this forum.

I'm beginning to think I'm rich. I know many of the Utah burners couldn't go without their fire performer or ranger tickets. Seems as though there's a lot of unemployed folks right now, or perhaps I know them all.

Next year I'm thinking of buying 8 tier 1 tickets.

I have 4 people in the household and can set up 4 computers with unique IP addresses (cable, dsl, iPad & iPhone).

This will be my bm savings fund.

Then I can sell them off one by one and torture the cheap bastard hippies.

I'd call it my Radical Panhandling Honeypot (tm).

Oh the fun I could have

I'm amazed at how many people are posting this week to sell tickets. It reminds me of the people who stand outside of a concert as you're going in. Not many people head to a show without a ticket.

Not many people go to a show without a ticket.

However, BM has had a lot of very giving people help people over and far beyond what can normally be expected, and....

this has resulted in a lot more people deciding to ramp up the expectation meter and ask lots of anonymous strangers for a handout. The amount of entitlement roars high during right before the event.

This seems a lot less like "gifting" and a lot more more like "begging".

Excuse me? Plenty of people go to shows without tickets, hoping to get one at the box office or to buy someone else's extra. Heck, some shows have "Standing Room" which isn't even sold until an hour or so before curtain time. All sorts of things are done by taking the leap and seeing if there's an opening to make it work, rather than getting the ducks in a row. It's the quality of how you ask for a ticket that makes you a "ticket troller" not the act of asking.
