DREAMING THE FUTURE METROPOLIS: A Call for Visionaries
Start Time: Monday, August 30, 2010 at 12:00am
End Time: Monday, September 6, 2010 at 12:00am
Location: B.R.C. SacredSpaces Village (sacredspacesvillage.org)

At this year’s Burning Man, The Universal Chakra Temple at Sacred Spaces Village (sacredspacesvillage.org) is home base for the Visionary Urban Futures Project. Located on the Esplanade in a prime location, we are a community nexus for inspired as well as grounded spiritual visionaries, artists, teachers, and leaders. We are putting out a call for planet workers, and inspired educators to share their ideas and inspirations for dwelling in the awakened Metropolis of the future. We seek writers, thinkers, speakers, teachers, artists, poets, and heroes who can offer installations, exhibits, workshops, and presentations to their fellow Burners. Folks with no experience in any of these topics, but with a general interest are encouraged to come share their ideas and interact with others around these issues. Topics and expertise, and interests sought include, but are not limited to:

• Future Urbanism (Actual and Utopic)
• Technology and Sustainability in Urban Spaces
• Urban Agriculture/Permaculture
• Collective Intelligence in Cities
• Evolutionary Acceleration of Consciousness in Cities
• Green Urbanism and the Built Environment
• Urban Alternative Community Models
• Sacred Design/Temple Architecture/Sacred Geometry in Urban Spaces
• Renewable Energy/Transportation Possibilities
• Green Economics/New Currency/Trade Relations

The future is Urban, and the experimental city/community/utopic canvass of Burning Man offers us a unique opportunity to collectively paint our
dreams of Future Metropolis together. Bring it!!!
