Barbie Death Camp & Wine Bistro Returns! Again!

The theory is that they died of thirst eventually.
I don't think saving anyone was really on the table.
The idea is that it would be more disturbing to hear all those people alive.

You forgot the right away. It would take some pretty sophisticated medical tech to save someone afterwards. I doubt the
Crusifiction was pretty nasty too, took several days to die.

unless the family payed to have the feet pulled on.. The slanted foot board helped prolong the ordeal

Wow, talk about a thread drift gone horribly awry
But I certainly have to take the blame on this one, I'm the one who suggested the impaled barbie  It's a good thing I didn't suggest a giant barbie guillotine. Heyyyyy  I wonder.........

Vlad the Impaler was certainly an evil character. Recently online I saw a video that prompted me to do some digging around the net for more info. It was about a right-wing Croatian organization during WW2. I had never heard of them, at least that I recall. They're atrocities apparently even made the Nazi regime cringe, which says alot. They were know as the Ustashe. Here is a link to more info on them.

I have to think that if aliens are observing us from Alpha Centauri, it's no wonder they want nothing to do with us.
Excuse me Ma'am, your going to feel a small prick.

I guess what I was surprised about was that I never recalled hearing about them. But considering what has become of Yugoslavia and Czechoslovakia and the unrest that has and seems to continue there, it is not surprising. There seems to be a fierce nationalistic pride that runs through the blood in that region.

Religious, as much as, or more than nationalistic. After all, the Serbs and the Croats and the Muslims all speak the same native tongue, albeit it's written in at least two alphabets. That's Serbo-Croatian the alpha-bets are Cyrillic and Roman with whatever local adjustments. And they say christians love peace.

I guess it all depends on what you poke them with?
And if they poke back.
