Alrighty Gang....here we go....its like when you were a kid and your parents told you "were going to disney land next week"...
You ran upstairs and packed your bags(with absolutely nothing of course you would need on that trip) but you packed, by 2 hours later... you had maxed out your head trip with what it was going to be like and your parents found you balled up passed out asleep holding onto the suitcase handle, tightly! With the biggest smile across your face!!!!!!!!!

WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!

Some people wonder why I use this funny term WEEEE, and why is it that I spell it wrong?

I tell ya a lil' story....My oldest daughter came of DRIVING AGE...ack! Every parents nightmare, but of course we forge on, try with all the patience of the world to teach our youngins how to operate a 1/2+ton piece of possible death trap solid metal with nice shardy plastics that can impell...ok...sorry...(I actually have the next one coming up this yr, I can see the gleem in her eyes!!!!@)
Well when My oldest had finally passed all her tests and had become(Safety sally) She would be driving along and this Wheeeee, would come out of her. It was like the goose that layed the golden egg, and the first time it did its golden trick for its new owner.....Wheeeeeee

I had such a wonderful time at Burningman my first year...I could only find one word ....my oldests WHEEEE
But the "H" just didnt seem to fit....I think it was because I wouldnt have had such a awesome fucking mind blowing experience without all the people I met, played with, saw, talked to, sang with, danced with, drank with, PAINTED, helped, rubbed, bartended too, patroned, visualized, spun fire with, fed, watered,costumed....etc.....

It was the people of Burningman that gave me my WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!! Cause its WE out there having the time of our lives, that invokes such a feeling in me!

If you want to try it....do this ...picture yourself walking out on esplande, a very tall stilter, a beautiful naked girl and a painted chubby guy walk up to you and say what a wonderful smile you have....we just had to say hi and welcome home, glad you could make it...half an hour or So(playatime) pass and you hug and say see ya later...and then a perfectly chisled bronzed man, a Chicken,a unicorn and a small dainty green fairy walk up...again...the playa time conversations happen...you all hug, maybe even exchange a idea to get together later to party, and by now, you've completely forgotten what you set out on the open playa to see and do....in the first place.....
and it just doesnt matter...for what you were gifted with in those playa minutes and hours...were so much more then any thing you could have enjoyed RIGHT THEN AND THERE.
People are the true gift. They share the most intimate moments of time with each other.

That my friends is where the WEEEEE comes from...deeep deep down to my very soul, a pressure cooker of sorts, a happiness and pure bliss kinda feeling, that my head needs a release or it will blow the fuck off my shoulders...so I vent....a big fat.....

WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!

IT IS!!

All you need to do is go out once and be dazzled by the immensity of BRC, be awed by the incredible art people create, be overwhelmed by the generosity of complete (but not for long) strangers, feel appreciated for the efforts you make in participating, have more fun in a few days than you have had in the last few years, and find the place in you that you never knew existed...

...and you're STUCK coming back home year after year with a big ol' smile on your face. :D

They look very nice. I have to finish up a few costumes and I have to finish making my gift necklaces. I have 15 done but my daughter has kidnapped 3 of them because the charms were "SOOOO PRETTY"

I also need to make a food list and figure out how I am compacting my items down so they dont take up too much of the van. Argh!
