The White Out Blues

The White Out Blues

Postby mars » Wed Sep 03, 2008 10:14 am

During Monday's 12-hr. whiteout, our newest campmate, Sez, inspired us all to participate in writing a song. We had a great time writing a song as a camp, and then someone suggested we go to the radio station and perform it. We did, had a great time and recorded the experience. I hope you enjoy the song!

There are 2 versions. Each mp3 is about 3.3mb. You can find them here:

sezg.com/mp3/white_out_blues_radio.mp3
(recording from BMIR radio courtesy of Cookie)

sezg.com/mp3/white_out...in_station.mp3
(handheld recording by Project, in the station)

P.S. We were really just *pretending* to have the blues.
Live as if everyone loves you and thinks you look great. Dance as if no one is watching.

I love it. I need to participate in more activities like this, centered around writing music and playing or DJing. Im very sensitive to sound out there and found myself in need of some activity like this. thanks for the inspiration!
