Now then.
When the Herring Huggers arrive on the Playa this year, they may have some damage to their camp, but there is one thing they can count on. Like last year, their favorite mode of transportation, The Silly Cycle, will be waiting for them!

Thanks, Elliot.

We all hope that the trip for Norway to Killbuck will go as smoothly as it can be after warningsigns all over the box. With your silly bike on the themecamp Scaleburner 1/87 it will all be completed. Spread the words...

That's fantastic, Elliot. It's tiny, I know. What is the size in cm?

BTW: The crate is on it's way to Köln, Germany...

Oh, maybe three centimeters long. Still needs some tire black on the main wheels, and it's crude as heck, but I'm not used to working with such tiny things!

(Sorry about the photo quality also. I have a film camera that would work nicely, but this little digital one cannot focus close.)

Yeah, those H0-bikes are tiny, I know...

Tip on how to get better focus on close ups of really tiny stuff: Shoot at about 2 metres and zoom in to the object. Most of the times that works better than being close to the object.

Right, but this digital camera is an "El Cheapo" without any zoom or other fancy functions. I think I can change the resolution, but I would have to read the instructions for a while.

With my "real" camera I could get a very nice shot, but I would have to go to Sacramento to get the film developed!

Was wondering if my friend Ouchie the Avenging Unicorn can play?

Ouchie is a magical creature that protects and defends us from many of the evils currently in the world.

For instance, Ouchie protects us from the creepy mime who thinks he deserves a quarter for pretending to be trapped in a glass box.

Image

He also defends us against the New Age vegan lady who gets on your nerves when she starts ranting about the carbon footprint you leave every time you use double-ply toilet paper or shoots her attitude of smug superiority because you don't have a diet consisting of fermented kudzu sprouts.

Sorry, but it seems like your friend Ouchie is too big for our 1 qbic-foot glass box. Only 1:87th scale allowed. Maybe we should send Ouchie, Muchie and Vuchie through the downscaler machine ...

Dude, watch out for that horn. You don't want her getting blood on hands. She just got a new henna pattern painted on them.

Good news. We are now on US soil. Except a hole in the beer keg, we are all OK (I hope). We'll be heading to a secret undesclosed location in Nevada as soon as we get through customs here on the east coast.
