And people wonder why I think the news is complete bullshit.

"a bunch of rich white kids doing LDS"
"no black people at burning man"

These people are fucking stupid. It was about 3 seconds of news, and 3 minutes of hate mongering.

Fuck 'em.

There was news in that report?

I saw nothing of the sort, just ignorant asshats spewing tripe.

If you think that's a new low you obviously haven't seen any Bill O'Reilly clips.

God, I wanna clean all their ears out with a power drill! What a bunch of ignorant "experts" fox has on their staff! No black people? Rich white kids on LSD? Who are they trying to kid? Well, their loss I suppose. Anyone foolish enough to believe that crap probably wouldn't fit in well at the burn anyway. Probably. I'm gonna go weld some stuff up for my 08 project. Nothing like creative outlet to brush off ignorant hate.

Actually, I thought it was funny. The extent to which humans will go in order to miss the point is astounding. No mention of the gifting mentality whatsoever. This just shows that the system that wants to make certain we all "stay home and watch our TVs" is losing control. I'm just glad they're laughing at us and not calling out the military--oooh, wait, can't do that 'cuz everybody's fighting overseas. The FOX news mentality is a dinosaur. There is no reason we need to tune into that frequency. My love and condolences to those who lost their beloved friend.

BTW,
with regard to the premature burning of the man, what part in the gifting mentality does forgiveness play?

Of course Fox is evil!

The big picture can be seen by renting from Netflix the movie:
"Outfoxed, Rupert Murdoch's War on Journalism."

It brings out the nature of Fox that is even more sickening than what they did with this topic alone.

Postby mayor sizzle » Fri Sep 14, 2007 7:10 pm

i just watched the video. they clearly don't know what they're talking about, and it's hard not to take it personally when the topic is something you care about.....but they're just trying to be funny.

so, i hate being one of those people who says "lighten up," but that's who i am right now.

it's a bummer to envision people watching this show and being influenced by their "reporting" on burning man. but maybe i'm just as closed minded as all of them for thinking that anyone watching and taking fox news seriously is already a goner.

Hey, look at it this way: The more the "oustide world" thinks BM sucks, the less of them will go!

Well, every year, we'll go to his prison and take him a gift of the ashes of the man in a little plastic baggie. (or maybe a paper bag, since it can be recycled.)

They've pulled all clips on BM. I couldn't find it either. But here's the real supprising fact. Someone from BM DID watch Fox News. So I guess we're not all geniuses. This tragic event happened just down the street from our camp. It was one of our sister camp's member that found the person. It really fucked up their week. It was a real tender subject in our area. The humor that's floating around from Fox and within the BM community is disgusting. Payback is a bitch and Karma is alive. Someday all the clowns that find this situation a chance for jokes will have someone in their life commit suicide. And people will laugh at them and make jokes on the news.

I'll sit back and admire the irony of it all.

Does anyone have a youtube link? Not that I care about Fux news, just want to see the clip that caused all this talk of carnage.
Read my posts with a grain of salt.
