Radio Electra, this year at 89.9 FM, wants to thank Black Rock City for another great year on the playa airwaves. This year featured more expanded programming than ever before, including the only remote live broadcast of the Mutaytor show after the Burn. Daily shows included the Guitars that Rule the Playa Show, the WaltSnipe Radio Hour, and the morning Celtic Music Show. Returning special shows included the annual Tues. night simulcast of the SCARAB world music dance (Brazilian music this year), and the Wed. late night "Send Your Mind Over the Edge Show" with WaltSnipe and Matt "Change It" Gubitz (when went WAY over the edge this year.....but to date no arrests have been made). And, of course, Sir Skip of Dakota rocking hard throughout the day and evening.
