I just wanted to toss this out for any Barbiebarians or anybody else for that matter who might live in the Sacramento-Roseville-Auburn area: We are taking the Amtrak to Reno for a party weekend leaving out of Roseville. One couple who had signed up had to cancel at the last minute and we cannot refund their money. They paid $279/couple (this includes room, transportation, all the beer/champagne/soda you can drink on the train, catered lunch, pre-party breakfast, prizes, and we'll throw in a champagne brunch for Sunday) but we can let it go for almost any reasonable price (say $200). I know this is last minute, but these things happen. If you would like more info PM me with a phone number and I'll get back with you ASAP. There will be no fewer than 16 burners on this party train, the plurality of which are Barbiebarians.

First off, I want to thank all you burners, Barbiebarians and other denizens of the playa, for a great time this weekend in Reno. I personally want to thank Kernal Killbuck for his creation. I also want to say I'm sorry I messed up somehow and managed to miss meeting most of you. I saw Pinemom for a second on my way to my suite, but then life kind of got in the way (not to mention several swigs of absinthe) and the rest is pretty much of a black hole. I'm sorry I did not meet Sw..sh. Ygmir says she is very sweet indeed, and he should know. I promise to do better next time. Anyway, I think we all had a pretty great time burning down Reno. Until, that is, they evicted me from my suite at the Sands, but that's another story for another day.

hello all!

I would like to announce that Doc Pyro has cordially invited myself, husband and hopefully sister-in-law to attend the BDV this year! :D :D :D

We will most certainly be attending...unless of course something comes up with my daughter or we somehow don't have tickets. But let's pretend there's no chance of that happening!

I'm definitely excited to meet all of you and even though we'll be Birgins I promise...no sparkle ponies :wink: (Oh, i'm so proud of myself for learning some of the lingo already, bahaha)
