Hey All,
I am heading back to the playa this year after taking one off and I am keen to get Critical Stilts rolling again.
Did it happen last year? From where to where and when?
Traditionally it has been on Thursday, starts at a stilt bar, goes to Centre camp and then where ever.
Who is in?
When/where to meet?
I would love to get this set asap so it can be added to the whowhatwhere

Last year it was awesome !!!! we were serving Sangria at the afterparty from our art car (Toxic Rose) it was one of the best experiences !!! Nice crowd, nice ladies, good neighbors that kept changing (not enough alcohol), a guy with half cooked pancake stand , nice music (was sometimes) .... BRRRRRRR i got goosebumps already

Umm I guess I should have made the subject clearier. I am looking to set up Critical STILITS.
Although I like tits- I don't have any and therefore have no say in that event.
basically I am thinking of putting it in the WWW for Thursday...and going with the 'if you build it they will come' theory.

What about if I suggest a date time and people say ya/na...or silence...ummm
The good news is that I am camped with about 8 other stilters so I guess we are basically a critical stilts in ourselves.

There is only about a week left to put it in the WWW?
I am looking for commitment on dates/times/locations.

What about:
Critical Stilts
Thursday 4pm - 5pm
Start at the 9:00 Plaza (aka 9 @ Biology)
And then we walk and our way around the Esplanade to centre camp, where we can take over the centre stage for a stilt dance party. then if our legs aren't too shaky we can continue around to the 3 Plaza?

I would also love to make it more specifc and hit some stilt bars or start at a stilt bar. Anyone know if the red Nose District is running this year?

(Since the Monkey Chant is listed as 2 p.m. - 3:30 p.m. on Tues, Wed and Thursday. I don't really want to crash the centre camp during that ( I would rather participate))

Sounds like fun! I got my wife stilts this Christmas so she could experience Burning Man at a higher level (she's 5'0''). We'll see y'all on Thursday. Looking forward to a tour of stilt bars. We'll sniff some out on the 3:00 side to add to the agenda.

Hey yellowdog- Thanks for your post- I am actually 6'5' already so I don't really need stilts, but I did once make a pair of 13 inch stilts for my 5'4' girlfriends at the time so we were both the same high...it was super fun.

I will give this thread a few more days and then post the resulting plan to the WWW.

I my mind Power Risers, Drywall stilts, mini stilts, giant stilts...super hot tall women wear 5inch stilettos....( well that last one is just for me )
Anyway- All are welcome!

There has been talk of making it later in the day- like 5pm so it is a bit cooler?
any more input? If I don't hear much more I am just going to pick a time and post it in a few days so we don't miss the WWW.
