I've been posting but never said much about myself. I usually don't thinking I am about as normal and boring are you can get. Dad in service so I started school in France and graduated in Japan. Lived in So Kal during the coke days, yuck as I look back. Been to every state except Alaska. Hitched all over Europe and Japan in the 70's. Lived on the North shore of Hawaii for two years being a surfer during the days and a FM jock in the night. Was in the Air Force myself for 4 years during the Nam era but didn't get sent there (although I volunteered to go which figures). Worked a couple of different jobs but mostly for the last 30 years worked for a local county government (with my long pink hair haha). Married twice, 20 years and 8 years. Two kids Tiffany and Cinnamon, and 8 grandkids. Some hard times some but I wouldn't trade any of those years. I am a music freak. Started off going to shows with my mom (Faron Young, Marty Robbins, Cash and family, Patsy Cline, you get the pic. Went off on my own then: Did all the big shows back then: Woodstock, US fest, Denver and Atlanta Pop, yada yada. I still go to a lot of the major music fests each year. I have 3 dogs, 2 cats, and a gf. She is the best. Do some photography but I sort of suck hehehe. Hummmm, that might have put you to sleep but hope to see you on The Playa. Colorado Ron cr****

Wow no, although I miss a few items haha, they don't ring a bell at all. I was in the AF at the time and a friend from Denver (I was in Nashville) came and picked me up and we zipped up there. We were in a '54 Ford painted military green. We called it The Lizard (partly for J Morrison at the time). We hitched a ride from some vendors because our car was a zillion miles down the road when we parked at the fest. Good times .....

It's weird. I went up to Seattle a few months ago and picked up some old boxes from my dad. It had a stub to the show. I will have to find it.

It's around here somewhere lolz. I do have my Woodstock T hanging on my wall but it would actually be "newer" than the stub ha. In the box too were some old books like a Little Golden Book dated 1952. They aren't worth a lot cept to me ya know .......Yea Tripod, I am as "Haha to you" over Patsy more than say The Beatles at Red Rocks. Geez I sometimes feel a bit old but then I slap myself and say "Catch me if you can."

Biggest event I ever seen was in 1974 , hitchhiked from basic at ft leonard wood missouri . We were at the end of basic and was a hold over, so we had time to go. I took some acid and dont remember much.

I like to think of myself as a positive energy and I am so honored to be able to attend BM for the first time this year! I spent my year outdoors last year where I worked with AmeriCorp in Northern MD and I loved it! But this year I had to return to the real world and ever since I've been following my dreams and going to school to become a director. I currently live and MD and am going to be moving to San Fran directly from BM! So this means, I'm taking all my things, driving across the country, attending the experience and then relocating myself out west! I'm very excited!!

I enjoy making art and riding my bicycle, as well as singing and being as happy as I can in this life! I can't wait to meet everyone this year! I am going to BM alone and although I hope to meet up with friends I would love make new friends too!

My name is Gray, I'm in L.A. and I'm a newb, as I've been reminded already. I have some experience building temporary structures for windy, hot events from camping at Coachella the last five years. Last year was a 2100 sq. ft. canopy enclosed space with a separate 400 sq. ft. "air conditioned" room. However, I've been looking at the evaporative setups on here and I waaaay over built mine. There were 19 of us in that structure, but I'm by myself for BM, so I'm cutting it down to one "hard" enclosed 10x10 that'll have evaporative A/C, a small fridge and a place to charge anything I might need (no phone, of course) running off of a 170w solar panel. There's also be another 10x10 with "soft" walls for cooking and lounging. Should be fun.
