I just went to Phillmont recently and they were big on LNT, here is some things on a plastic card I got.


1.Plan ahead and prepare
2.Travel and camp on durable surfaces
3.Dispose of waste properly
4.Leave what you find
5.Minimize campfire impacts
6.Respect wildlife
7.Be considerate of others

8 Remember, you are no longer obliged to kill any children who discover they are gay, and bury the bodies. This will save much effort.

9. Leave no trace of fossilized dinosaur footprints by throwing them into reservoir.
10. Leave no traces of forests by starting forest fires. Gotta work on those ground burn marks though.

Thanks for posting these. Scouting is how I was introduced to Leave No Trace. I went on a couple of Philmont treks in the 90's. I will be drawing on that experience at Burning Man this year.
