Hmmmm....
I picked up Ayn Rand's The Fountainhead for 25 cents at a thrift store recently. Should I read it, or throw it back?

Okay. True. Should I give such a such a second chance or just decide that that's off enough that I don't have to.

Great double brekie, Misa! Thx for the coffee Anti M. Morning Elorrum and MDF. Glorious weekend here. Fired some pots last night and so now I can make some new stuff next weekend. My youngest, the Geochemist, just returned from 2 months at sea off the coast of Panama drilling for samples of the deep sea ocean floor to determine how the ocean floor was formed by learning what it is composed of. She was very tired but very happy to be back with her family. She was the lead scientist of the 35 on board and was working 16 - 18 hour shifts. Proud of that kid!!

Have a great week, kids, and Happy Birthday George and Abe

Happy Family Day everyone!!!

Tis a bright sunny day here, no snow so far today. Not as nice as yesterday, it has cooled off from 0C (32F) to -27C (-16F) [with the windchill]. Still nothing to complain about on a holiday...

I hope you all were able to get a ticket if you needed one! Got the holiday day off and are planning to relax (well, begin the frantic BM prep anyhow).

Keep your stick on the ice!!

It might be good to know who you're dealing with when someone goes on and on about it.

I'd say give it a peek, but put your good china away, first.

Thanks, that settles it. Education I'm generally open to, but aggravation I don't need. I already understand the basics, so straight in the blue (recycling)barrel it goes.

Say... we located the World's Stupidest Man here in Clearlake yesterday. A dilapidated building on our main drag was observed to be on fire, and the Fire Department hosed down all the surrounding buildings so the fire would not spread. All well so far. Then reports started coming in from witnesses about a fellow who was hanging around and bragging to bystanders about how he started the fire. That genius is now at the County lock-up. Strange world. All right, back to your drinks!

Hey gang!

Well, I've been busy with work and resting up a bit since the big ticket day.
*does a happy dance with all four feet*

Good to see some of the old guard stop in for a drink recently!

I had to look this one up. I recall you helped work on Charon last time Elorrum. What a fine opportunity to work with Peter Hudson! Of course, he probably ended up saying.. what a great opportunity to work with Elorrum!

Say.. where is our diminutive Viking?
*sets out Kraken for his return*

Getting late here, and kinda windy outside. Guess I'll duck under the NEB..
G'night all

Good morning all! Thanks for the coffee.

I had a late night last night out at a "DC Burners Town Hall Meeting," ha, at a near-by tavern of course, so glad I went because I found out about a really cool project being for 2013 called the Castle of Mischief.
