And ouch! No thanks. They used to do that at Tool concerts. To much pain for me. I pierced my nipple once and wanted to cry for like three days

Just looking to explore openness with a consenting adult Or group of consenting adults.

What's that area like? It's been a few too many years since my first burn for me to be able to recall correctly. Noisy and crazy? I might try and camp there, that would be cool to be surrounded by my fellow gays.
Eric wrote:Most of the camps right near there are theme camps, so you'd have to join one, but, yeah, they can be anything. Some are loud, some are quiet, some are gatherings of friends, some (like Comfort & Joy) are huge endeavors where people are expected to help out, but the campers there do tend to be faeries, so it helps if that's your scene.
If you're unaffiliated, you can always camp farther back along 7:30 - last year I had friends who set up at about 7:45 & I (J?), way out at the very back of the city, but they had a gorgeous view of the mountains and got peace when they wanted it.
Also take into account that BRC is one of the most gay-friendly cities in the world. Yes, there will be homophobes - there are always negatives in a city of 60,000, but they are far outweighed by the positives of a city that generally really doesn't care. The only "gay" camps I've been in have been when ours organically grew that way. We're a mixed bunch, and honestly, I wouldn't have it any other way. YMMV, no two people burn alike.
