I've heard of ppl in my camp getting in the queue now and waiting far less time (under an hour) to purchase tickets... Did you get one yet?

Clicked the link at 12:00:20 and just now at 5:04 pacific time I have my ticket. Lots of reloading and lots of waiting but it finally happened. Have the conformation number from the page but don't have the email yet.

twister5voy - congrats! As long as you've got your confirmation # you should be good to go. I imagine the email confirmations will get caught up in time.

Not yet, but I wouldn't expect them to be available for too much longer. If you've got friends/campmates who registered but have not yet purchased tickets, tell them to get on it.

Yes, it took 4 1/2+ hours and many times re-entering my passcode but the purchase page finally popped up!

Edit: How about trying staggered purchase times? Does anyone know if this is in effect?

Seems like it would be possible, as we had to pre-register, to separate the registered in to groups and assign a time to which they can make the purchase. Perhaps even to offer multiple time slots for each registration, so that multiple schedules could be accommodated. When pre-registering, one might even be able to select the times they'd like to be able to buy. Early registration would result in a more desirable purchase time slot, and a more reliable experience overall. This would help with server load-balancing, and most likely result in a much smoother ticket purchase.

The thing I find interesting about the whole queue issue is that once you submit your unique code, your place in the queue should be set. At that point there should be no rush to purchase.

Send an email with your number in the queue and a time window when you can log in and purchase. No rush, no fuss, no browser issues and refreshing. The first 20,000 have 24 hours to purchase. After that an email goes out when you're allowed in. You have 24 hours to buy your ticket.

Another fantastic idea - hadn't seen this when I posted earlier!

However, if I've learned anything in reading up here and elsewhere, what's perfect for some will be a tragedy for others. Again, best of luck!
