Unbelievable - the queue page already crashed my browser once, not five minutes into the wait. (And Safari on a Mac is pretty robust!) Some things never change! So I'm here on the ePlaya on my other machine, just to be sure I don't do ANYTHING to knock myself out of the queue again. Fingers crossed!!

It's not your IP address. Probably one of their server IPs.

Possibly they're balancing traffic between multiple queue.inticketing.com backend servers to manage the load and one of the servers isn't loading the web content properly. It's a stab in the dark but since the error doesn't seem to occur until it attempts to change servers that's my guess.

You can just hit "Reload" within the webpage or F5 or Ctrl+F5 to bring the page back up. They're probably using cookies for queuing so providing you're not closing your page and/or clear your cookies, you'll most likely retain your place. If you look at the queue.inticketing.com cookie it has a couple of elements called inQueue and inQueueuVerify.

DancesWithElves - sorry to hear it. Things are working without incident for other Mac/Safari issues so that browser crash may have been due to something else. Good luck, hopefully you'll get through the queue in relatively short order.

I would love to whine and complain about how nothing is working... but... it's working.

-- I was in queue at 12:00:10 (<-- time stamp!)
-- Had the offer for tix within 5 min?
-- Have the confirmation via email by 12:09 (nutha timestamp)

I *thought* I was kicked off -- as it asked for my secret code a 2nd time -- but after I entered it again (did *not* refresh my browser), I had the tics waiting for me to enter my credit card, etc.

Done and done. And that... is a 1 MM% improvement on last year.

So I'm not sure if I should be worried or not - got in just after noon, entered my secret code twice, got to the page where I was asked how many tickets I wanted and after entering that information .. not much. The page URL says burningman.tickets-secure.com/display/reservation and the status bar at the bottom says waiting for burningman.tickets-secure.com - but it's been like that for about 15 minutes now. I know the system is going to be slow but I just don't know if it's really waiting for a response or just spinning its wheels and I don't want to refresh and possibly lose any progress I had made. Any advice?

I got kicked off after 20 minutes... signed back in and had my tickets in two minutes. So it was able to place me back in line where I started. Have faith and keep cool. SOOO much better than years past.
