I just heard back from the ticket team, the list will be scrubbed to remove duplicates and those who participated in the directed group sale.

Yep. They just sent me an email

"Our records show that you have already bought tickets to Burning Man 2013 through the Directed Group Sale, congratulations! Since you already bought tickets in the Directed Group Sale you are ineligible to purchase more tickets in other sales."

Yes, you can make a single purchase of two tickets.

srsly tho ... the user experience might've been made a little more robust.

kinda counter intuitive to shuttle the user through extraneous pages, but the process was so quick as to be practically imperceptible.

A friend accidentally registered with a first name that doesn't match the one on her credit card. If she does a second registration with the correct name, and the same email address, is that going to be a problem? Will the second attempt go through?

Excellent! For those who have registered, stay tuned for your confirmation email. If it's been more than a day and a half and you have not received your confirmation, check your spam filter. If nothing's there, then get in touch with ticketing support for assistance. Set your calendars for the Individual Sale, which will begin at 12pm PST on Wednesday.

For those who have not yet registered, don't despair. This year's secure ticketing exchange program (which starts up in a few weeks) will be open to you, there will be another sale of 1000+ tickets in early August, and there will be opportunities to purchase tickets from other burners in the after-market (though please do not pay more than face value plus fees).
