Last year was our first year with a bar, and it was so much fun we're going to do it again for 2013. We mostly serve craft/homebrew beer, but cider, mead, infused vodkas, homemade sodas, wine, or anything else you can think of would be a great addition. Also, feel free to stop by the pub if you just want to help us drink any of the above, or our signature coctail: "Frank the magic goat"

Does anybody here have a Idea how to get my stuff to the US?
Sending one box with approx. 60 pounds to someone, but is this allowed?![]()
If we manage this, i could offer "Münchener Weissbier"

i CONSIDER THIS TO BE A TOP PRIORITY. GERMANS MAKE EXCELLENT BEER.
mudpuppy000 wrote:Awesome!Yes, I'll post our location when we know it. We're going to seek placement again this year. I don't think we had any homemade wine last year. Are you a winemaker???
Is your friend looking for a place to camp or just volunteer? We should have spots for both, but details are still being worked out.winebuff wrote:Yum! Will be there......

YES!!
I don't think there are any restrictions on bringing beer into the country. I flew back from the UK with a suitcase full of beer no problem. It would be extremely expensive to ship it through the mail, but you could probably bring it on your flight with you.

I am very happy for your positive reaction, really! But unfortunately an additional suitcase would be really expensiveI am not sure if 20 liters of my stuff are worth spending 200€ (280$) in transportation fees for an extra luggage item. But if you have a idea how to send this in any other way to the states without spending so much..
DJ_Matou wrote:A trial bottle or two should find it's way over the big ocean under all circumstances, i am happy to share them with you. But i am trying to figure out something, there is a tool named uship.com where you can offer items for transportation, and the transportation companies cann apply for the jobs. Maybe they can offer me something. (would be also helpful to bring some additional stuff to the playa)

Also certain that the ratio of distilled spirits to beer exported to that produced is much higher. Wine may well be different.. Although, they don't export plonk. Germany has three different grades of wine--table, maybe, is the lowest, then Preditat then Preditat mit Qualitat--and that last stuff is what gets exported.
Now, I've got to check on that, so I can edit out any rank idiocy in my golden hour...
Well, I wasn't far off, so I'm letting things stand, except for adding this link.

So: wheat hop and yeast are ready and waiting for a free weekend. After that - press thumbs, that everything fits in place.
(what includes sending some package via dhl to a hotel in vegasif someone checks what is in that package, it will never get any inch nearer to the playa than to some servicemen's stomach
)
*g* kidding. let's see & think positive

We had a full size kegerator w/ CO2 last year (for the commercial kegs). This year we'd like to add a jockey box as it took a long time to chill a keg in there when they were swapped out. I also have a separate setup for homebrew kegs in an ice bucket, but I'd like to get a jockey box for that too.

I make Cab, Merlot, and a Meritage. Come BRC I should have 3 Cabs I'll be drinking. Any interest?
