No idea what the problem was with the first profile... Just hope I'm not penalized for double profiling with the same physical address and info.

As far as being more exclusive than last year, the jury's still out. It's the same size ticket pool as last year, but a camp or project having been invited to participate is not a guarantee of a ticket. If people keep the invitations to their core members, there should be plenty and most will get what they need. Hopefully since those invited have a history of participation and are likely to have a vested interest in remaining in good standing for future years' events, everything should work out.

Is there a contact email address for this process? Just write in and tell them what happened. As long as the camp name and your name is the same, and you're only in there once, it should be okay. But you'll probably feel relief if you make a record of it.
(Maybe it was the profile itself; maybe there was downtime for whatever reason, and it's just a mad coincidence.)

i'd like to delete the old (broken) profile, but i don't see any links/buttons or other instructions on how to do that,
even tho the FAQ mentions that deleting a profile also unregisters you...
any ideas? thanx.

Lamplighters are the oldest continuous art installation at Burning Man. Every night we take out 100+ volunteers to light the city. Our village is a destination for those that want to be a part of the workings of Black Rock City. I say BULLSHIT BMorg! I think this descion was based on the expectation that Lamplighters will be able to fill the village roster regardless of directed ticket sales. So, BMorg just gave a big "fuck you" to our core group. Well fuck you too BMorg.
