Congrats to those getting their vacation time approvals, may everyone seeking them also be successful :)

You're going to love that generator, MacGlenver. I've used them for years with other camps and we've had ours 3 years now, after the annual spark plug replacement it runs as well as it did the day we got it.

Registering a burner profile does not actually register you for a ticket sale, but it is the first step.

To create your profile and pre-register for access to ticket sales, the only information you’re required to provide is your first name, last name, email address, and mailing address. That’s it … the same info required whenever you buy Burning Man tickets.

Ok, I'm missing something. I can't find the link for the profiles. I saw the ticket info page but I couldn't find any link except for the low income and the holiday sale. I think I'm having a senior moment.

Picked up some supplies to try and make a cross stitch BM pendant. I needed a crochet break.

Also bought some feathers to put in my cap from Michaels.

Silk Feathers!!!! I hadn't seen these before. I found them online when I got back. At Michaels they came three to the bundle with some random greenery that I'll toss, but I was so excited, I had to buy them.

Tiny cross stitch. A little small for the pendant I bought. Might see if I can find something smaller.

The proportion looks good to me. I mean, maybe move the cross-stitch up a millimeter or two inside the pendant, but I happen to admire the amount of white space on either side of the the cross-stitch; it means you can see the image really well.

It's very pretty, btw! I've never seen anyone do a )'( cross-stitch!

You can cut out a few sizes from black card stock or something to get an idea of what size works.

I don't know that leaving a job (or anything else) makes one a lock for a successful low income application. Good luck with whichever program you choose to pursue. And good luck with your upcoming move!

It's been a productive week, in addition to finishing the move from old storage facility to newer/bigger one, I got a bunch of unneeded stuff to a local recycle dump. My girlfriend and I were able to get tickets sorted (as were a few other core team members), and I was also able to get classes booked for this month to go over the electronics and arduino stuff I need to learn to support some of the projects I have in mind for this year's installation. Then finally I was able to get a bunch of backend stuff done for both the camp's web site and the FB page.
