Deviant Playground is looking for new members!

All Deviant Playground members are required to participate within camp. Participation can take a variety of forms including but not limited to set-up, breakdown, working the bar and leading activities. Because we strive to create a drama-free environment, existing members may veto new applicants.

We are a deliberately small camp and this is our 6th year as DP. We are small because we've been in or honorary members of very large camps and we know the kind of drama that can happen. (not that those where badly run, but 300 people is bound to have something go down...)

So, we try our best to have people that mesh both with our theme and our current people.
Which generally means don't be an ass hat, put up with our over-organization, understand the rules of the playa and drink some water your are over reacting.

The Veto is a sanity check. Every existing member can say "no, I'm not cool with that person". For example no one wants to camp with their crazy ex.

It's a system that's worked really well and it's formed a good little community. Even all year long for many of us.
We missed '12 due to ticket issues and a bunch of babies came along, so our on playa membership is looking a little low.
