Honestly, Id love to be camped by the Duck Pond. But they are normally on opposite ends from BDC. We will keep you posted.

For what it's worth we cooked 15 lbs for a camp of a dozen and some sharing and didn't bring any home...

ive cooked well over 50 pounds of bacon for people with the help of another person at the burn before..

it takes a few hours... youll need to stop to clean up your pans/cleaning surface along the way (unless youve got a real nice fancy diner style flat grill) as you start to get burning/tons of sticking/bad shit after a bunch of the stuff develops on the pan..

fastest way to cook seemed to be treating it like browning hamburger.. just stir it around .. we didnt have enough space to cook it slice by slice

we ended up with easily half a gallon to a gallon of bacon grease.

i seem to remember people soaking it in to cardboard and burning it in a burn barrel..one year.. but i dont know if that ever actually happend... in other years i mixed it up with playa dust so it was less of a spill/leak hazard then dumped it in the trash.

May or may not happen. Logistically, it's simpler than buying all the pieces to make my Y-straps work... But space wise it's low on the totem pole. TG is working on the floor..I'm staring at it now..and, that's a good corner of my truck bed. Other campers are pitching in with a trailer, booze etc.. so we'll see. We abducted two people from the Iowa Meet N Greet, but are happy to take in more! No dues, just donate vodka and mixers(x3)
