Hello from Nebraska!

Hey everyone.
My wife and I are very new burners. In fact, we just went to our first regional burn this past weekend in Iowa. We are very excited and have met some wonderful people. We are already making plans to attend Burning Man in 2013. We look forward to the experience, and meeting a lot of wonderful people.

Hi Dave & Lisa!

Welcome to the board. I'm glad you've found your local Burners; very smart. Well, there's a wealth of information here on ePlaya too, as well as some garden-variety snark (and a great deal of socializing down in the "Open Discussion" forum). When I'm trying to dig up answers, I like to skip the ePlaya "Search" function and go straight to google with keywords + eplaya, for example:

goggles eplaya
house rules for RVs eplaya
logistics of flying into reno eplaya

If you read up and still have questions, people are (usually) pretty nice about it, if you look like you tried. :)

What part of NEB are you in?
I've got a some family in Hastings, Ogallala, and Lincoln.
Why don't ya stick your head in that hole and find out? ~piehole

Savannah: I don't know what it is, but no thread here escapes alive. You'll get 1 or 2 real answers at minimum, occasionally 10 or 12, and then we flog it until it's unrecognizable and you can't get your deposit back.

Be sure to buy your tickets as soon as they become available...the Nebraska quota shuts down quickly! :mrgreen:

Yes, we are members of the Facebook groups for Tallgrass Burners, Midwest Burners, and Iowa Burners. We missed the Tall Grass mixer a few weeks back, and just got back from the Iowa Regional Burn this past weekend.
