There was one topic in particular I wanted to discuss about Burningman, just to see if I'm the only one likes the idea for it. I tried bringing it up at at the Bman subreddit, but the only response I got was one guy saying "whatever man, burning man is about doing what you want," and so I gave up on it there. Kind of bummed me out too, still have a sour taste.

Anyways, I'm Scott, I like to groove, play games, meet good people, and other general human things. I program and make music in the my normal life, and my favorite color is green. Pleased to meet you all.

Pretty much the first response I got. It was about whether or not there is such thing as too many fast blinking lights. I totally think there is, and I totally think they take away from the slow stroby kind, or the color changing, or just plain ol' fire. Also, the Aliens are never going to respect our attempts to bring them back if we use small fast blinking lights! They use soft static or slow strobing, you know, like tron.

A. Changing someones Quote by adding things to it is un-cool
B. No one really gives a fuck who likes DubStep or Blinky Lights, 99% of us are adults that have lives outside of Burning Man, 'bout the only thing most of us do agree on is, "that life" is not as awesome as "TTITD.
C. Chose your enemies wisely and for good cause, alienating a potential ally over trivia will cost you when you are dealing with something more important like finding Backers for projects and snark buddies for messing with Trolls.

And I'm really coming to the conclusion that ePlaya is not the burning man version of an internet forum, but really just the same disrespectful bunch of people I've come to expect from everywhere else. Which is fine, but that I really felt like a little burner community time. Well, here's to just waiting for the real thing cheers.

Most likely, its not the same people that you seam to meet "everywhere else". Everywhere else is a really big place with a lot of different people.
