and yeah, asd........now you've got me thinking:
I had the hydro boots unit changed on my truck today, dropped it, and went to lunch with burner pals.......came back, and, the mechanic said "it's all done, except I can't get the radio to work.
WFT? says I......it was playing when I pulled in, and the hydroboost is not electrical......did you check fuses?
uuhh.....no.........so he checkes some, says, it's not that, you better go back to the waiting room.........
I have a brain flash when I get there, turn aournd and back out, where he's beginning to tear the radio out of the dash......
I say WFT?...........you didn't touch it before, take your pud-wackers off it now!
and I turned the key to "ACC" and the radio came on. Surprise!! says I, it must be electrical, and must be something loose, or a fuse.......did you bump anything taking stuff out and putting back?
"no".........well, ok, I said, just humor me, and check every fuse in this box here, with your tester:
"well, ok, but I would know if I shorted anything......"
me: "please".
so he test.........5th fuse in "hey, this one is burned".........
me *look of shock* "imagine"
and,........what does it control?
well look at that, it controls half the ignition switch, but, we don't sell fuses here........
me: "no fucking way"! *smiling*, you get a fucking fuse!!
he runs and steals one from the service truck, plugs it in........hey look, the radio works!!
I tell him he's a genious for figuring it out so quick, pat him on the shoulder and say yay, glad you didn't rip out my whole dash and radio.........
"yeah" he says, "glad I found that"
I say "good job"
then I say, hey, how big was that fuse?
"50 amp" he says..........me, to my self "seems it would have made a spark".........ah well.
but now, I'm driving on the part, the major brake controller part, he put in.......................*looks to asd for sympathy*
