When I used to lifeguard more often, and teenage boys would say "If I drown, will you give me CPR?" I'd regale them with possibility of cracked ribs and vomiting . . . and I found that it really cut down on the chit-chat!

LMFAO, it's really something to look up at the faces of bystanders when we work a code out in plain sight as they listen to the snap, crackle and pop of chest compressions. I wonder how many walk away and call their lawyer about DNR/Do Not Resuscitate orders lol

Usually I make a new Halloween costume...because I can. Halloween is a major holiday for me and Gonzo. This year however, I've blown off my usual sewing frenzy due to school. Gonzo came up with an excellent idea though. This year Gonzo and I will be goofing off all day in our Poop Patrol "uniforms".

I painted some bones on a dark suit. It was much better than a storebought and cheaper too. I made lots of broken bones, eyeballs, even some animals amongst them bones.

My new kitten got into the streamers I was using for the piñata costume I was making ... So on to a new idea.

I'm going to be a pile of leaves with squirrels playing in them. Squirrel toys reluctantly donated by my dog... (note to self: keep costume hidden from dog until after Halloween, or he may steal back his toys)

I saw that boner costume at the halloween store today everything will be 50% off the 1st and second so Tom and I are going to go out and see if it is left maybe and see what other fun stuff for next years burn is there.

Well sat I'm running the pubs Halloween party sense the bosses are on their hinny moon yay go me. Dressing up as queen of hearts. I made it for the Burn and put el wire on it but never wore it so it is getting use. Bought some stripped red socks and a crown to finish it off

Wend I'm also working night so took 2 dresses out of the closet that look like they are out of the 20's and bought a head peice with a feater and going to dash it up with pears. Also one of those long smoke sticks. Only missing the gloves, fishnets. And feather boa but would have cost me 36 bucks more to get them oh well

Change of plans, I think I'll be a soggy hurricane survivor, assuming I make it through tonight and tomorrow. I did have a new idea for party treats if I manage to keep power and decide to pull a party together. Homemade caramel apples with vanilla candy glass pieces drizzled with cherry syrup. Can't wait to try it.
