Theme Predictions for 2013

Cargo Cult - Who is John Frum? He is known to us by many names, this Visitor from Elsewhere, dispenser of endless abundance and wielder of mysterious technologies: John Frum, Quetzalcoatl, Osiris, "Bob." His cargo is splendid, his generosity boundless, his motives beyond our understanding. But across the ages and around the world, the stories all agree: one day he will return, bearing great gifts. Our theme this year asks three related questions; who is John Frum, where is he really from, and where, on spaceship Earth, are we all going?

Theme Predictions for 2013

Now that we know the dates for Burning Man 2013 and it starts on a Monday are they going back to opening at midnight on Monday instead of what they did for this years burn and open at 6pm Sunday?

Unknown. Probably at six the day before--I think the other way is too steep uphill to make work. However, the wild cards are the BLM and Nevada Highway Patrol.
If you plan to get there early on Monday morning you'll miss the crush of opening and still maximize your time on playa.

I actually waited less than 2 1/2 hours in line to get in and I got there about 7pm Sunday. I was dark when I got my ticket. So about 9:30 or 10 pm to get in Sunday is not bad at all.
