I would help with Wednesday, cleanup, etc IF I go to TTITD next year, that's still up in the air.

(And in fairness to JK, I was also doing some "bitching" of my own about the interlopers and the way they descended like locusts and vanished when the food was gone. I also remember suggesting some rearranging of the furniture to make a more private area but not make the camp look closed -- or closed off.)

I've been hit and miss every other year because the Bunny/Core issue.

kinda understand the concerns of those that can't get to BRC untill Thursday but...

I'm sure everyone has their own Burn Night Tradition, but a new one could be eplayans meeting up at a pre arranged place in the City and walk out to the man en masse. ? but that kinda cuts into one's ability to watch the man burn with their camp. but ...

The MnG should be a big game of sardines played accross the whole of BRC on Friday, Camps that would like to be involved could sign in and be a "Stash" place. ??? <--not a really serious sugestion. but...

The Meet & Greet was lots of fun! It was fun attaching faces to names. Morrell, I met you and your lovely fiance there (you gave me my first absinthe!), and then I kept running into the two of you!

I'm with Triken of this. Its probably the only place on the playa that so many of the people I care about are all gathered together at one time. I'm good either day, but changing to Wednesday seems like a good idea considering the competition with the core burn.

We could have a second event. I don't think that the 2nd should be the same thing. And I don't think that Doc and BCE&WV would want to go through hosting twice.

if there was to be 2 events, though i think 2 meet n greets means that many people wouldnt try and get to both meaning more people we dont meet. it would be good to have one on each side of the city.
perhaps wednesday evening and saturday afternoon (in a shady place)

Everyone knows Stag Camp has the best shade on the playa, and it's on the other side of the city.
I'm in no way volunteering our camp, I'm just stating facts. Although if other Staggers think it's a good idea..

I also want to go to CORE, so am happy to move event.

I will start a new google doc for the M&G and give editing rights to a bunch of people so we can keep it updated. But I'm not sorting that tonight as there is a snugly black cat on my lap demanding my attention.

I might try the core burn next year anyway, by the time the MnG came round i had met everyone pretty much and the people i was only ever going to meet at the MnG i didnt even though they were there and so was I.

Being as I'm with Retrofrolic as well, that's our M&G on Wednesday! It runs in conjunction with an event at Supended Animation. Oh well, we DO have eleven months to figure out the logistics. Although since herding burners is kinda like herding cats, it'll likely take that long.

Wednesday works for me. (btw, it suuuure was nice to have the living room lights on after 10pm most nights...more fun & easier to find the camp!!)

About the "interlopers" (if there's such a thing in BRC) they can always be asked to "walk the runway" in their outfits (no matter what they're wearing) or perform some other ridiculous thing, or tell a joke or...??
I'm sure we can think up some other (terrifying/boundary pushing) thing they can do on the spot....hehehe!
