The easiest way to make the M&G a great success again in 2013 is to have Mel (if she'll even do it again) handle the logistics, what she says goes, and if anyone doesn't like it, tough. I recall jkisha bitching last year about the food and the interlopers, and those problems were solved. Not because of me or jkisha, but because Mel kicked ass and took names. We could all learn a lesson on the necessity of an enlightened dictatorship when running something as cat-herding intensive as the M&G. YMMV, but I doubt it.

I disagree, had it not been for me the fact that there was a problem would never have even been acknowledged. And that is not taking anything away from the splendid job Mel did in organizing the event this year. Nor is it intended to impune those that tried their best to make the event a success the previous year. Sorry I missed it, won't happen again.

JK you know how I feel about not getting my hug.

I really want to make a regional burn at some point, and this year Kendoll and I had every intention of leaving early and going, but there we were at midnight still hanging around camp lol.

It's way too early for me to commit to what I'll bring.

I know that traditionally the M&G has always been on Thursday night, but now that the CORE burn is that same night I would like to see the meet and greet moved to either earlier in the day or another ningt if possible.

Much as I would like to see the core burn, I can't bring myself to leave the M&G to see it.

I'll tell you what, though I resist change, perhaps Wednesday would work? That is the day of the Naked Bike Ride & Pub Crawl. If Dale could push that to Thursday (BDC&WB is always one of the major stops) that would keep us from having to host two major events on the same day. But if the NBR&PC has to stay on Wednesday, and they are done with us by noon, and we can get cleaned up and ready by 6 for the M&G, I could probably see my way clear to make that change. Friday would be out because of Critical Tits and we have people hanging around long after 6 p.m. Ideally if we could switch the bike ride to Thursday (then we also could attend the Billion Bunny March!) and the Meet & Greet to Wednesday, maybe we can make more people happy? I would like everyone's feedback who intends on showing up on this. If you don't give a shit either way, let that be known as well.

True Dawg, but some of those so-called "weekenders" (and let me cite but a few names: Sunset Red, Michelle) make it in on Thursday because they teach and can just barely make it there for the M&G. I don't think "fratboyz" are a problem because we don't advertise it in the WWW Guide. There is no ideal solution. I am OK with Wednesday as long as we have enough help to do both events without killing me and Mel. Because I will work one or the other, but not both. I overdid it last year (as many of you could attest I was a wimpering wreck come M&G time) and will not make the same self-imposed mistake again.

I would also really like the ability to attend the Billion Bunny March and the CORE burns, having missed them the last two years. (Missing the Meet & Greet instead is hard to imagine).

Wednesday night works for me, and I hope it works for a @#$%-ton of others . . .
