yeah, he was one of the first welcomers I had........when some of the "old guard" were kicking my ass left and right, he'd Pm me a little encouragement.......and he'd back me or at least acknowledge me in the open from time to time.

It makes me want to get all the barfolk from way back and gather them 'round. So many gone, now. Many just moved on, some left this world all together. I miss Nipples too. His departure lead to other friendships, in a surprising way. This place has evolved so much over the years. Neat to see how it's changed and neat to think back to how it was.

Ya know, there were a few who,lke Yg said, made me feel welcome when I was a wee bit of a burner... LeChat was one (I still have the steel "S" he made)... Sensei another... Tish and Helitack and Cap't. GDI, and, oh hell, I could name half the people who were here, tho a third of them are gone. Remember the secret tunnels, the explosive backrooms, the NEB, the infinite bar, the 1000 beer taps... and the amazing theme camps which trace its roots to meetings around the kerosene hurricane lamps here.
