Got an idea for an installation/construction/whatzis. It has to do with making music with the wind.
Imagine a set of aluminum tubes, all the same length (about eight-ten feet), positioned vertically such that their open ends catch the playa wind.
A tube with a wide bore will sound in a fundamental frequency only, while narrower tubes will sound in the overtone series or the undertone series depending on whether the lower end is closed.
If this makes any sense to you and you want to work on an interesting project, let me know.

I"d think about melting them, and making something beautiful from the material. Pour into a mold of some sort?
