I really want a wide cherry red mohawk of my own right now. It suits my skin tone.

Not very versatile though (I can't even commit to a tattoo).

Neither can I.
No ink, no piercings. I still enjoy entertaining the thought of dyeing my hair bright orange or shocking pink though.

The problem is I'd only trust myself with burner-level engineering, you need experts to get you up stairs without ending up at the bottom upside down

the robe lining and outershell are both ready to be attached tonight...and then only the other vinyl piece, wiring run through, and hemming is left. I think I can finish it on Wed when I take my free day off. (WOO HOO!!! My job is pretty nice sometimes!!)

BF pre-ordered some stuff from Home Depot...we pre-ordered some stuff from REI over the weekend...all done ordering from Amazon and all items should be here on Thursday.

Still need to tie dye some items tonight or tomorrow and sort out the outfits into bags...and possibly buy a new suitcase (hoping I won't have to).

My living room has officially exploded. Let's see, today I duct taped the vents in my tent, wrapped my cooler in mylar, grouped my stuff into Camelbak items, in the tent items, and items that need to stay in bins. OH! And the big one, I found a ride there and back that can haul all my stuff including the beach cruiser!!!

Bought most of camp cooking items (anyone have tips on keeping corn tortillas alive for 10 days?

Bought more duct tape, giant plastic bag for trailer mattress, and had house keys made for pet sitters.

Printed out my boarding passes, packed everything, still kinda doing last minute packing, got all my important documents (ticket, boarding passes, car insurance) and put them in a manila folder which will be on me at all times throughout the traveling portion and then safely secured somewhere in my moms house.

Thanks AntiM, there are 90 of them and I only need them for our camp dinner on Friday. I was going to put them in a plastic bin I got to put into the cooler and keep stuff dry. It sounds like that could work. There is already moisture in the bags though. Should I air them out before packing in cooler?

On another note, something completely weird happened at Costco yesterday:

I remember waiting for a car to pull out from a parking space, then I pulled in and parked my artcar, put the club on my steering wheel and went in to do my shopping. Came back an hour later and WTF? My car was in the parking space in front of where I'd put it, the emergency break was off and the gear was in Neutral! Did someone "joy ride" the VainVan? Nothing was taken (and there was some parking money, a phone charge, a really fancy rhinestone crown in the car.) It seems nothing was touched but the car was carefully moved. WHY? This kept me tossing and turning until 2am last night trying to understand who would do such a creepy thing?
